Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines, was one of the strongest tropical cyclones ever recorded devastating many areas of Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines on November 8, 2013. Tacloban was one of the cities of the Philippines that was devastated by this storm.
Numerous charities and church groups rallied around to help and provide much needed resources.
From estimating costs to buying to loading, delivering, stacking for eventually loading onto trucks that drove much needed supplies to survivors – and this was just a drop in the ocean !! May we never underestimate God moving ‘mountains and people’ to care for the needy ….
Plus many more stacks waiting to be transported …..
Time to put aside the challenges of my kids being overseas and focus on the challenges faced by the people of the Philippines. Challenges of having basic provisions for daily survival.
I didn’t know you were using WordPress all this time Mum!
Still a (very slow) work in progress!!
